This toxin will also affect mussel beds, which are a prime target of opportunity for a lot of people who don't read English. You can see them at the Huntington public beach in LLoyd Harbor harvesting these "free" mussels in the shallow backwaters.

this is just great considering that i have to swim a 3k in huntington bay in july!!!!!!! i cant wait, NOT!
