OK I'll admit I've never been to Twitter and I'm not sure I understand it completely. But isn't it safe to say that these Twidiots are a bit narcissistic?
I don't feel a need to broadcast an alert to an entire network of people every time a take a dump and I certainly don't care when anyone else is, whether it's the Nassau DA or the President.
I could see where maybe Eddie Van Halen circa 1982 would have had an interesting Twitter account, but Suffolk Legislator Jon Cooper?

Yeah because sending out updates about what the DA's office is doing is such a waste of time. Jeez you people look for any reason to criticize.

Rice & Suozzi have time to "tweet" during the day? Shouldn't they be doing something else with their time between the hours of 9 AM - 5 PM? Like, I don't know, maybe run the County? The County is broke, we're being taxed to death & these fools have time to surf the internet and Twitter?

County government at its best.

Please please have that B*TCH Kate Murray join Twitter so we post messages about her and have her see them!

If she uses it for work purposes to communicate with people, fine. If she, like Suozzi seems to do, mixes in the events from their personal life, then forget it. It is definitely an easy to use, no-cost, means of communicating with a large audience. If she correclty uses it as part of work, then there should be no problem there.

For those that "don't get it" and even those who do, you will appreciate this hilarious video about Twitter.

Yet another pointless story from a newspaper growing more pointless by the day. What's next, a banner headline on the front page of the print edition announcing the President has changed toothpaste brands?
