This guy missed his calling - he should have been a comedian!
He wants the money back ?? And who paid for his "off and on" benefits?
He needs the money - the taxes on his Lloyd Harbor home just increased.
Seriously - where does it all end up?
Coming out of taxpayers' checkbooks.
But don't worry - the superintendent is "looking into it."

And to top it all off-he is still retained by these library districts-what is wrong with the people who serve on these boards-we should hold all of them fiscally responsible for hiring him and allowing taxpayer monies to go to him

Again-he is still working for some of of the public libraries in Nassau County-how can the Boards of these libraries allow him to work for them and taxpayers when he is so dishonest-these boards should be held accountable both fiscally and morally

Really sorry to hear your situation and hopefully one of these good people responded with good leads and information. I just hope that these thieves are prosecuted with large fines long jail time and the loss of there ability to practice law, but I have no confidence that much will happen beyond a slap on there political wrist. My other hope is that the ones in power of the school district's will be forced to resign and loss the pension too for theft being and aid and accessory. We pay these administrator big $$$$$ for what they can't even follow simple rules.
Good Luck Thanks For Your Civil Service
