Please get your apostrophes straight! "It's" is a contraction for "it is." "Its" is the possessive of "it."

And, is it "Coney's" or "Coneys"?

Please, Newsday! It doesn't take much time to proof!
More like that

After 30 years of false and failed attempts to complete the State mandated Local Waterfront Revitalization Plan (LWRP)for the Town of Huntington, which has spent Hundred of thousands of dollars on consultants and still has no approved plan, only mismanagement, ending in lawsuits by the hand of Frank Petrone.

Why wasn't this worked out over the winter?
subsidize wealthy boaters

The Town of Huntington already provides the cheapest boating accomadations in all the North shore for a select few with the added bonus of FREE electric in all three Town marinas. Where on God's earth can anyone find FREE electric?
So now the Town is going to expand this tax giveaway to lauch and mooring service. The launch must be Coast Guard certified and inspected with a licensed Captain. What budget line is this being siphoned off from? What happend to the private sector? The boating season starts next month and the Town is now just putting the the boat bid out?
Where are the jurisdictional boundries,
Come on Newsday, ask for the plan.
What is really going on?

Is that the Local Waterfront Revitalization or the Lost Waterfront Revitalization. How many millions of dollars did Huntington loose from the State because Petrone never did his job?
How many millions of dollars did Smithtown get from the State because the Vecchio completed the LWRP?

All good questions Newsday?

No accurate waterfront inventory was ever completed. According to the Town assessor, a lot of public property was given away and taken off the tax rolls. No inventory. no plan. Thanks Frank.

Who got the free property and why?

All good questions Newsday.
What a disgrace

LOOK, just LOOK at the newly installed rusted steel guard railing all along Mill Dam Road at the head of Huntington Harbor. And what is with the striping on the road? None of it makes sense.

Why would you repair the road when the concrete rubble seawall at the Mill Dam Marina is falling in (installed by the TOH without proper permits)?

The list of neglect goes on and on.

All good questions Newsday?
needs more than paint

Hey, the ball park got galvanizes steel rails, the rest of the new stuff looks like hell.

What happen to Frank Petrone's idea of a walkway with the little botiques near the sewer plant?

I thought the idea stunk.

"She said the town has already put out a bid for the launch service"?

I read the bid and it was just for a launch.

Bring money, you'll need two

So the bid is out, and we know that Petrone never planned on these expenses in his budget. So let's guess. The Town doesn't have the money for a new launch so they will purchase a used boat that is tired.

When the boat needs repair, what is Petrone going to use to get the people to the dock, the pump-out boat?
