Jobless rate tops 10 pct. for first time since '83

Bring back the line item veto for the president!
So much for hope and change. There are three things we as a country need to do to improve our situation; 1. Force congress to give up their golden parachute retirement plan and place themselves into Social Security, Medicare and Medicad. 2. Make it manditory that all unemployed persons get drug screening prior to receiving a govt. check, negitive blood work results, means a positive check is in the mail, positive blood work results, results in a negative wait until next month for your check. 3. Revise the system of welfare and unemployement and make the people go to work for their check to detour people from going on these govt. assistance programs (GAP) and take jobs that pay less than GAP because having a job is better than being unemployed.
Attitude changes, take the deadbeats off the rolls and make them work for their income as opposed to the expection of "free money for me".
Being on unemployement should be shameful, not a way of life for generations of families. Change the encentive from "free to me" to "feedom from thumb".

I hope that I get cash from the government one day for doing absolutely nothing. I also hope to see those in leadership, especially fortune 1000 execs and the 500+ members of our government, make much more of our money in the future. After all, the way they conduct themselves, you would think they are dying and that money is actually the antidote. I feel sorry for them, they need it really bad.:(

I also hope that we continue to be fed more and more lies to the point that the truth becomes obsolete. Forget the truth! It never helps anyone.

In the near future I also hope to see more and more educators sell that out for a stable paycheck complete their terminal degrees and take higher education by storm. Why play around with character, ethics, and moral values. Let's stop pretending and get on with making educated liars out of our sons and daughters.

I hope to see this and many other wonderful things come to fruition here in the land of the free-to-hurt-each, home of the not-so-brave.

Obama and our elected government have failed the American public. Americans did it to themselves by demanding cheaper prices (forcing companies to seek cheaper wages and materials) and borrowing on credit for everything under the sun to satisfy the American "want it now" mentality. Unemployment will get far worse as no new business will be created and exisiting businesses will be further forced to lay people off to remain in business. With the government spending so much money supporting only big and special "buddy" businesses they will have noone to sell their products or services to here in the U.S. They will then quickly turn their backs even more on the American people to provide their products and services in foreign countries. The U.S. will become the "china" and "japan" of past, working to fill the appetite of their people on the sweat and backs of our children.

Every problem we have now in the U.S.A. is GWB's fault according to the looney left although BHO has been in office for over 9 mos.
