I don't live in Detroit. I don't live in Wayne County. Why should I have to pay part of the bill for the mismanagement, thievery and irresponsible behavior of the monkeys that run the City? Fck the DIA. I don't want free admission. I wouldn't go to Detroit to save my life. It is the Planet of the Apes.

Perhaps Detroit should take all of the sh*t at the DIA to a pawn shop and use the money to bulldoze a decolorized zone on the areas of the city that border the suburbs.

I drop a guy off at a clinic in Detroit but later I find this guy slumped over in his house with a needle in his arm ?
My guess is he never went into the clinic but went to a pusher man instead....

If all the people who voted for this would have gotten off their fat asses and actually went to the DIA, the DIA wouldn't have needed this millage.

Well, culture was the selling point that the ads touted to suburbanites. The thought bubble was that having some expression of culture would attract businesses to the area somehow. Businesses would say, "My employees will want to be here because there are all these cultural outlets." Just don't tell them they have to drive through Crimeville to get there.

Detroiters all liked the idea of "free" when they were not going to pay as much as suburbanites in taxes.

Anyway, people are stupid so they fell for it.

I must say I am shocked that people fell for it.
never saw that coming.
The DIA can sit back now and enjoy the 100 million dollars they have sitting in the bank.
Well played DIA.
Suburbanites if you do go....lock you car doors.
Enjoy the art, you paid for it.
and will for the next 10 years.

Wow you people are racist. Find something better to do than criticize the city of Detroit.
