Vigil tonight for bartender slain in Westland

Westland --A vigil is planned for 9 tonight at Chatters Lounge, 7640 N. Wayne , in remembrance of a 28-year-old bartender who was killed in the parking lot after the bar closed Monday morning.

Very sad story, my thoughts go out to the family, and her daughter. There is just to much of this domestic violence going on.
I will never understand it.
Her poor daughter must be devastated.

She is the niece of a relative of mine. I only played with her once or twice when I was little (she's four years older than me), but for whatever reason I always kept one of her school pictures in my wallet. I am sure I still have it somewhere. I am so disgusted and saddened by this news.

Nice that the bar employees that "loved her" couldn't find enough guts to go to her aid while he was killing her. They were still in the bar and heard her screaming for many minutes. They not only DID NOT go out there to stop the murder, NOT ONE of them even dialed 911. Nice "friendly" bar....
