Clair and Gary are in the phone book, call them and ask them. I hope it isn't true because I like shopping there, although it isn't very crowded when I am there. I have saved a lot of money and I enjoy the majority of the products sold.

Well now I'm really glad that that those anti-Wal*Mart people got thier way. Not only are people out of jobs, but now we will have to drive to another town to shop for food.
Wal*Mart = jobs, shop close to home, save gas, help taxes

Now we have no Wal*Mart AND no place to food shop......huh

Really? Maybe the smart employees left when it changed names. Too bad this town doesn't have another place to shop and not be ripped off by HFMP. I grew up in a small town that had 3 small grocery stores. They all did quite well. The two smallest took turns being open every-other Wednesday. Too bad this town can't come up with something like that... without a giant super store. I'd definitely like another place beside Save-A-Lot to shop local. Luckly, I pass two other stores while going to and from work. I get my better stuff there and simple no name things at Save-A-Lot. I never do much "big" shopping at S A L.

Has anyone actually confirmed this? And G.O.B. you should try more items at SAL because they are quite good you'd be amazed.

Sounds like you're living in the past my friend. You probably miss Woolworth's lunch counter.

Spoke to Gary today and he said this is NOT true. He invites anyone to speak to him or Clair. Let's find something better to do than slam a small business owner. I shop there every week FIRST and then if there is anything left over on my list, I will go to Wegmans. Stay away from Wal Mart. Save A Lot is a great local business. SUPPORT YOUR HOME TOWN BUSINESSES !!

I am glad that the story isn't true. I would hate to loose our only grocery store no matter if I have to go to other stores to complete my shopping. What I am not very glad about is having people telling me what to do. That seems to be the problem lately. People forcing their ideas on everyone else and belittling anyone who thinks differently. I am an adult. I will shop where I want, misspell words when I want, and use bad grammer whenever I want to and I will fight for your right to do the same.I will even shop at Wal Mart whenever I want to.They are not my enemy.

Rumor has it that Price Right will be moving into the building Wegmans just vacated at the corner of Dewey and Driving Park. Let's see how well Price Right can absorb the shoplifting losses.

Please go the the "Rumors about Save-A-Lot blog and read the first positng written by Gary Milburn. There is no need for this web site forum anymore. Gary Milburn has answered your "rumor fact"! And support Save-A-Lot instead of spreading rumors. Their products are great and cheaper! Thanks.

And the big push to keep Wal Mart out because it would hurt the local Super Market, now No Super Market.

I would love to support my local business. But when the first thing I see walking into the store is rotting produce and fruit flies, I think twice about shopping there. It is not just about shopping there to support them, they have to do their part as well.
