preaching and remarriage after divorce

I am recently divorced and my pastor said I couldn't preach or have any leadership roles I was extra good to her and she never did go out on me she said she just didn't love me as she should and divorced me,I want peoples opinions on these 2 subjects thanks

Your Pastor is a narrow minded idiot! Do your self a favor and find another one. People who have this black & white view as your pastor does, seldom live in the real world. God does hate divorce, just ask any one who has been through one and they can tell you why.

the word of god states that adultry is the only reason for divorce. if you divorce for any other reason fhe bible saya to remain umarried. you could preach if umarried. read the eword it is the only opion that matters.

You either live with his rules or you leave that church. Its really that simple don't you think. It is his church so he can make the rules as he sees fit. Personally, I would just leave the church. You can't force the pastor to let you preach at his church.

I doubt that God wants you to live your life alone and unhappy just because one person whom you had done no harm no longer wanted you.

That's very odd. In the Catholic Church it's only an issue if you divorce and remarry before the Church reviews your first marriage under its Code of Canon Law.

I would suggest finding a Church that is more open to your situation and will help you find God in the midst of healing and rebuilding your life.
