if someone doesn't think about the dollar and taking care of the business end then there would be no jobs for anyone.

I gladly give my money to other grocery stores and if we didnt have any other ones i would gladly drive my as$ to cookeville and back before i ever stepped a foot into jerry's. Their prices are too high and their meat sux i got meat there when i used to shop there ad more times than i can count it was terrible, made my kids and me sick. I know a close relative that worked there for years and he said they always have had mice everywhere in the store. The last time i was in there i put a bag of doritos in the cart and it had a big mouse hole in it so i left my cart there and walked out. I have not set a foot in there since and i dont know how any of you people could say its great or that the meat is good, you must be talking about another iga cause it sure as hel! aint jerry's that place is terrible. sheeewwwiiii

And the Produce

Livingston, TN

#95 Jan 12, 2011
The produce is what I have a problem with. Packed spinach is outdated and crushed most all of the time. You open the bag as soon as you get home from the store and it stinks to high heaven. If you happen to be lucky enough and catch a package of squash or zucchinni, it is from Mexico and loaded with pesticides and preservatives. It is impossible to find organic or fresh anything there. But to be fair, the Mexican produce truck must make the pilgrimage to the store at least once a month. And oh my gosh, I can't remember the last time I saw more than four choices of vegetables in the produce department. I'm quite sure vegetables exist that they have never even heard of let alone tried to sell. In order to be truthful, they should change the sign outside to "Yesterday's Foreign Produce".

Attention Jerry's: Not everyone wants to eat pig feet and Little Debbie Cakes and die of Cancer from pesticides. We want fresh, American grown produce and some dang choices!

I've been shopping at Jerry's off and on for over 30 years and they do have the best meat in town. Food Lion's hamburger meat is tough and looks like worms when your cooking it and has a terrible smell. I'm sure I've got something every placed I've shopped that wasn't good, but not many times in over 30 years is good. I have shopped at walmart to and they are not cheap. Walmarts hamburger meat is like food lion's. So if you don't like a place just dont go to it. I'm sure ALL grocery stores have mice and restaurants to.
so what

Livingston, TN

#98 Jan 13, 2011
you people are funny always trying to better a place by complaining about the people who work there.we all know that when you have that many people together in one place there is going to be disgruntled workers and shoppers. hell even the churchs find this to be a problem. i have shopped in all the stores around and have found some of the the same complaints in them all. jerrys is no different than any other store anywhere.they are there trying to make a dollar. as for bad service they all have some good and some bad.i dont work there nor have i ever worked in any store. but i can bet it would be a head scratcher for any of us to try and hire only people that everyone likes. maybe the ones complaining should try wearing them shoes before they try and tell the ones that do they dont how to walk in them. so good luck finding a place where everyone in the place will make you happy.

If you have a problem tell Randall and he will re-direct you to his clone, son, Tony--who is all nicey, nicey to your face but don't turn around cuz he'll slander you to the nines. Rumor has it that Randall is handing over the reins, to Tony--that is gonna be a huge misstake. It won't be long before the store R-E-A-L-L-Y goes under. It's all ready started.
