Dr. Terry is the best doctor that I have ever been to! I know that he really cares about his patients and when I was in under his care recently, he did everything humanly possible to make sure that I had the best of care!!!Most of the problems that people complain about with Dr. Terry are really problems with the hospital, not with him as a person or a doctor.I have been a patient of his for almost nine years and I hope he never leaves this area.

He is the absolute worst dr that I have ever seen in my whole life. When I was 16 I went to him because of some personal problems I was having and he told me that I needed to pick out my casket before I was 20 if I didnt want to take birth control pills to help with my problem. You dont tell a kid that. Then on top of that I had a friend that went to him and lost her baby 2 days before she was supposed to have it because he let her go for too long. He is a quack if I have ever seen one.

I agree that Dr. Terry is the worst doctor ever. I went to him several years ago with female problems I was having. He was very rude and just mean to me. I was trying to get pregnant and he told me I might as well give up that I would never have another child. I left his office crying cause of what he had said to me. Well he evidentally knows nothing about medicine cause no thanks to him, I did get pregnant not long after he told me I wouldn't ever again. If there is any doctor in this world that does not deserve to be a doctor, it would be Mr Terry.

Like I said in another post, until he does me wrong, he will continue to be my OB/GYN of choice. If it wasn't for him 8 years ago, I would have lost my son because of the nurses. If it wasn't for him 7 years ago, my nephew would have either died or had birth defects.

I worked for Dr. Terry! He took pride in what he did! He was always using humor to brighten people's day! That isn't the most pleasant place to be so he would try to keep your mind off of what was going on! I know for sure that he took GREAT care of my aunt that had some major problems not long ago! And just for that I know that he's still a good Dr. And on another thread it was mentioned that he was financially stable, I find that VERY hard to believe!!! Just because he's now employed by the hospital now, why does that mean that he's not financially stable?? And he got his license from California, where he went to school! He's a great person! and I'm glad to say that he'd do anything for me and my family then and now!

He has been my doctor for nine years. If it wasn't for him I don't know where I would be. I have so many problems it isn't funny, but when I go in his office he makes me smile. No matter how bad I feel. He is a great doctor and a friend.

Dr. Terry is a great doctor. I am 26 years old and have had female trouble for 4 years. He tried every way in the world to do everything he could to avoid a hysterectomy at my age and has now recently discovered that it is not possible and i am scheduled to have one done on Nov 11th. Not many doctors would even consider one on a person as young as me and would let things get too far out of hand before doing it. But he cares and will do anything to help his patients get better.

I REALLY LIKE HIM. HE HAS BEEN MY DOCTOR FOR ABOUT 7 YRS AND HAS SEEN ME THROUGH SEVERAL PREGNANCIES AND A FEW BIRTHS. I HAD SOME MAJOR PROBLEMS A COUPLE OF TIMES AND HE NEVER TRIED TO DISCOURAGE ME FROM TRYING AGAIN. HE ALWAYS ANSWERED MY QUESTIONS NO MATTER HOW SIMPLE AND I FELT COMFORTABLE ENOUGH WITH HIM TO DISCUSS ANYTHING. I REALLY LIKE HIM AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM.

I ws one of dr. Terry's first patients when he moved here, and I am here to say I would no longer be anywhere if it was not for him. I had been to almost every Dr.around for months until I finally ended up in the ICU in Livingston and he showed up! He told me to get to Nashville ASAP or i would never make it,and after seeing so many Drs,he was right and here I am today, better than ever. I do not go to him anymore because of his secretaries! But he is the BEST!!!

Like I said on another post and another person has posted her, if it had not been for Dr. Terry I would not be here. He saved my life. I will always be grateful to him for that. I have worked with the public for many years and I have found that PLAIN TALK IS EASILY UNDERSTOOD. He is very straightforward, he does not cater to prima donnas who have never had anyone tell them NO, he tries to help. He went to medical school and went extra to specialize in women's health, he chose not to stay in a practice that tested his ethics and we are lucky to have him. For those of you who remember what it was like to not have a gynecologist in town and women had to go to Cookeville or beyond for problem pregnancies you know how fortunate we are to have a gynecologist. Family practice in Overton was overburdened for years trying to treat families and treat pregnant women too. How many of you sat in doctor's offices for hours waiting for them to come back from delivering a baby?
As for the ones who had their feelings hurt, hell, my dentist made me cry one time and I was in my frigging forties at the time. Consider what the situation was and what you wanted and expected.

What do you mean by "he chose not to stay in a practice that tested his ethics"?

Curious, don't act coy and don't try to read more into something than there is. If you want to know everything there is to know about him, ask him.
