Way to go Allison! You forgot to mention that biking to the field is a great warm-up for your soccer match.

Johnny is right; biking is great but people not following rules put a bad light on all of us. Riding two and three across partially blocking traffic is dangerous. Be safe out there.

Why do we care. Hundreds of people ride their bike.

When the tranny went out in my car I had to bike from Seabright to Dominican, catch the 17 Express, catch the Light Rail to Milpitas and then bike the rest of the way to work. Eventually on the way home I would race the light rail down 1st St in SJ and win. Then I would jump off the bus at Pasatiempo and ride home from there. Working the system I got my commute time down to 2.5 hrs a day. I average about 2 hours a day in the car. I was healthier, lost weight but was sick more from public transit. I got another car and haven't done it since. Now I'm a fat slug. :P

...and obnoxious. Gives ALL cyclists a bad rap in the eyes of those who don't ride, and makes that annoyance and/or rage more dangerous for cyclists. "Share the road" definitely means bicycles too.
