I think the biggest problem in Livermore is people like Roxy who post stupid polls like this. "Misguided Police Force"....whats a matter Roxy, you get busted for something you believe is mundane and not worth a cops time..or do you know somebody who knows somebody who got busted for something you think is not worth the time...If you have a point, I think you could do better than this.

What can you do about illegals? I mean there is one house on my block that has around 10-16 adults living/sleeping there. Half the block is filled with their beat up cars @ night. Do I know they are in country illegally? No. just have a pretty good feeling they are. They don’t speak English most do seem to work some kind construction yet the house they live in has been deteriorating since they arrived. Is there any place you can actually report suspected illegal’s too that will actually do something about it?

You're right! The current city council need to go. They have their own agenda and will sell out for a friggin' hand job any day.

How about a bunch of NIMBY's,that's the problem. People that move here and complain about an airport that's been here longer than most of us have been alive. A police department that goes out and deals with drunks. I've yet to see a cop on the street corner pouring alcohol down someones throat only to arrest him a short time later. NIMBY Not IN MY BACK Yard..

I don't see any crime other than teenagers being teens in a town with nothing to do. Is there a wonder I dispense more prenatal care medications to teens in Livermore than anywhere else in the bay area that I've worked at?

I you kidding me, Scooby? Teens in a town with nothing to do but have sex and commit crimes? It is called poor judgement and bad parenting. The wonder is why people do not take responsibility for their own actions anymore and everything bad is blamed on TV, Hollywood, video games, the police, lack of "stuff to do" and so on and so forth. Spend time with your kids and raise them like parents should do. Your kids are not born good or bad, they are raised one way or another and turn out good or bad as a direct result of parenting. The biggest problem these days is parents who put their kids in day care or in front of the TV or their video games. Parents who would rather have someone else responsible for their kids because they are "too busy". Kids in trouble are kids allowed to get in trouble.
