Mr. Ken Limtiaco passed away recently and as a longtime Livermore businessman I'm sure he's helped many families here. May we all express our grief and our shock as his untimely death.
Please send your regards to the family.

There is a Kens tires Facebook page to post on if you would like. Too great of a man not to post a thank you and a blessing.

I will miss Ken. My condolences to Pam and his kids. This is a big loss for the community too - Ken was a talented businessman, without really even trying to be. I think the lesson to learn is that being honest and genuine and good at your job is the best way to build trust and a good reputation , and you don't need any bullshit and marketing fluff. Too many "business people" just can't grasp the simplicity of that.

Just look at all the testimonials on the Patch page - I remember the very first time I went to Ken's - out of the blue and brand new in town and no idea where to go and I was like "Man this guy is kinda brusque and his office is a mess!" But then after I became a regular I saw that this was how he got stuff done, and the brusqueness became a friendliness and easy manner I always looked forward to.

Ken, RIP. You treated so many people well, if there are awards for that, I'm sure you've got one.

Kenny will be missed by all of his friends and customer, I was shocked today to find out that he had passed away.
I have known Kenny for over 30 years and met hi when he worked for Don at the tire shop on 1st St. Don pretty much let Kenny run the place for him and I could tell from early on that he was an honest man, he treated his staff & customers fairly and with respect. He was so helopful to everybody.
In the early days he was thin, drove a gold 240Z and wore a lot of bling, boy did he change throughout the years. Ken was like a son to Don and when Don died, Kenny took it very hard, like his own dad had died.
Kenny will be missed by all his friends and loyal customers.
We hope to see you again Kenny!!!

It saddens me to learn that Ken passed away, but he is with his Angles. As a single parent barely making enough to feed and house my family, I visited Ken in his shop that once faced Vasco, where homes are built today, and he gave me a deal and fixed my old car. I was so thankful that everytime I needed to get my car repaired I returned to his shop. Now my 2006 vehicle is not under warranty and I take my car to Ken's Tires because they provide great service. He's with the Angels.
