Aleese, you would have a better chance finding Santa at the North Pole than finding a real ghost anywhere. But, with that being said, since it peaked your interest enough to try it out, the stories work. Happy Halloween!

I have been to gravity hill and the car was being "pushed" up hill when put in neutral, but I have heard it is actually an illusion and you are going down hill. Anyone else heard about that? Also, tell me more about this school....don't think I have ever seen it but would like to go and check it out.

My freshman year at Granada in Mr. Petersen's science class, he explained the actual science behind what happens at gravity hill. It's an illusion. It makes you feel like you're going up when in actuality you're going downhill.

I'm pretty sure there was never a school there. There was the old TB sanitarium which has some buildings and a barn still scattered around there, the Veteran's Hospital which is still very active, and an old building from which was probably the Cresta Blanca winery still buried in the hill with it's tunnel on the road next to the Veteran's Hospital's driveway. Got yelled at by a cop for going to close to there once. Nevertheless, very cool.

Pretty cool spot until the youth camp went in. I'm not against the youth camp but we had fun up there in the past. Playing paintball through the woods and buildings was amazing.

Are you refering to the old Stivers Academy across the road from the Davey Tree office? I've never heard any stories of that place being haunted. I think people are currently cleaning it up to be used again.

We used a level at various points on gravity hill. It's actually downhill indeed. Doesn't look like it though.
