The so called car selling games are alive and active in Dublin! I visited them after seeing the windows plastered with $10,000 off on this Silverado I wanted. Sounded like a great deal so I engaged in looking at buying this truck. Well, what they don't tell you is that the $10,000 off is all the rebates and money that GM has on the vehicle. Great, but not really. I have pretty good credit at 742. I qualify for zero percent financing. They of course gave me all the rebates instead (althougth I only qualified for $6000 of the $8000 in rebates they had applied on their HUGE disount) but they quoted me at 9.95 percent credit. WHAT A RIPOFF! Any saving I had on the vehicle were GONE from the amount in financing fees I would be paying. This is the gimick they play, make it sound and look like they are just giving the vehicles away and them take you to the clearners thru the financing. I am so glad I took some time to think about it before I made the purchase. I would of gotten royally taken to the cleaners. Beware, they are not at all offering discounts, they are making so much money on you it is unreal. DON"T FALL FOR THEIR UNETHICAL TATICS

I guess my first warning should be that I tried to make a service appointment for my Saturn (this place is an 'authorized Saturn Provider' now that Saturn has gone out of business) they didn't get back to me. At all. I left a phone number, and email address. So, after waiting a week, I called them. I was going to mention why I haven't got a call back but I decided it wasn't worth it.
My mother told me today to look at their BBB rating and surprising its a F. See for yourself: http://www.bbb.org/gre ...
Not only that, but I've been getting emails from GM asking if I want to trade in my car. So, not only did they GET my email, they also sold it. Awesome.
I canceled my appointment and I think I'll drive further away for service. Beware.
I don't know were you get your info but it is an A http://www.bbb.org/greater-san-francisco/busi... #

I used to work at this hell hole. Stay away! The owner is this ruthless Indian guy who has a hit list for employees. If you don't rip off customers up to his satisfaction you are history. I actually quit after being harrassed over my failure to lie to sales customers. They want you to think that you are getting all this money off the vehicle when you buy it. How it works is that they buy the stripped models and then you want to add accessories and they charge you a FORTUNE and make all the money on you there! Buyers beware! Also, check what comes with the vehicle as I know that they dont' put on the factory install equipment and they try to sell it to you like it is an option and they charge you AGAIN for it. That is illegal as hell! If you bought a car here in the past, check your sales receipt out to see if you got screwed too! if so, there is a car attorney who can help you. His name is Louis Liberty out of San Mateo. He will get them for you! All I can say is that they suck and never go there. If you dont' belive me check out their BBB rating below!
BBB Rating for Dublin Chevrolet
Based on BBB files, Dublin Chevrolet has a BBB Rating of F on a scale from A+ to F.
They also get rated with General Motors and they are at the bottom of the list. This indian guy "Inder" could care less about us Americans. He rips you off and then sends his money back to his home country. Keep your money here in America, dont' buy from him!

It looks to me like Groth Bros aren't far away from closing up as they have no inventory to sell,I just don't know why Robin just don't close it up and move on.I hear she was trying to get donations to open an ice rink on the lot, with it looks like no luck unless she is hoping for freezing weather and flooding the empty lot.I also saw a big guy they call Rick that I was told was running the store, and how can they afford a mgr with 20 cars ?? sorry to say it's about over and done there.

I love Groth Brothers. Cheapest and better quality around for an oil change on my rig, even cheaper than doing it myself. Also have done a great job on my parents 2 SUV's also. Love Groth....they will be here for a while, maybe not on their car inventory but on their service alone.

awww, you sound like you are still umemployed! We know who you are! Such a good manager that you can't find a job elsewhere? Unemployment checks stopped coming. Boy, life is sure rough for you these days! Maybe that drug dealing you had going on might work out better for you, but then you would have to share your stash!

Of course you know "Ex employee" you're the goober 'employee' who spent their maternity leave trolling Topix to stick up for a sloppy, poorly managed friggin' dump.

Groth Brothers sucks. Went there to buy a truck one day years ago, the sales guy didn't want to be bothered to find me on that had the options/color combo that I wanted so I went to Crown in Dublin. Brought my current vehicle [reluctantly] to Groth for service - SHAM. The place is FILTHY [ya, garages are dirty but customers sitting in the service trailer shouldn't feel like their skin is crawling] AND the mechanics had no clue. Never fixed the problem - we did it after doing our own research.

Pack sand. Can't wait for more outdoor eateries, another "baby ruth" filled fountain or condos to pop up on that site.

It doesn't take a paragraph of rambling nonsense to answer the question, which is the subject of this thread to begin with.
