What is the average "after school" care cost?

Am wondering what type of after school activities does Live Oak offer? In NC, we have all types of fun and educational type environments that have bus pickup from the school and last until 5:30. Most of them also offer summer activities, also.

Very sad no one has responded to your question. I do not feel you will find the programs that you have available in Wake Forest sadly to say unless it is with a church.

Moving, you indicated that you wanted to start a business in Live Oak, so why not look into starting a day care or after school care?

I don't think just a day and after-school care would be profitable. However, an after-school educational fun type venture could be. Perhaps, something like a kid's chef school or science/space center or something along those lines. Perhaps, a mixture of all into an after school learning (and don't forget fun) center.

The daycare centers do pick children up after school and take them back to their centers. What all they do other than play I really can't say as I don't have small children.

Depends on the age group you have in mind. Daycares are pretty profitable as I think they charge like $30 a day per child. Could be wrong but I think that's what I was told.
