When I lived in Live Oak in the early 1970's there was a complex on the west side of Live Oak that had a lot of brick duplex apartments called Blue's Lodge. Over time the name had changed a few times and if my history serves me I'm thinking it was built in the late 1930's.
I remember someone telling me in the 1980's it had gone down hill catering mostly to low income and government assisted living individuals. Their opinion included it was a good place for drug use and purchasing. However, that was 30 years ago.
Always thought it was a neat clean little complex in the 1970's -- what is it like today?
