Angle of Main Street sidewalks a concern
The angle of some of the newly installed sidewalks have both residents and town officials worried, enough so that the town is going to require they be fixed.

Don't towns think to actually check on this stuff BEFORE spending out thousands upon thousands of dollars doing construction? Of course they have to spend out more money to fix it! And taxpayers are paying for it. Was that any big surprise?! I HATE the look of the sidewalk right in front of the post office, its much wider than it actually needs to be, you can't really push over now if the police or ambulance is coming up behind you to get out of the way like you used to be able to! I think a lot of spots are like this with the new sidewalks. And what about plowing around it this winter? They are TOO WIDE !!! I think it will be a total mess this winter if they are allowed to stay the way they are.
