Return to ballot voting on important town issues

There are 1 comment on the Lowell Sun story from Jun 7, 2010, titled Return to ballot voting on important town issues. In it, Lowell Sun reports that:

Three percent of Littleton's voters were heard at the 2010 Town Meeting. The zoning article was publicly heralded by Mark Montanari as the biggest zoning change in 50 years! Ethically, this should have been a secret ballot vote.

Henry, You have my support. Allowing only 156 people who voted for the Zoning Change to dictate important issues is a shame.

Ballot voting on important issues is the only way to ensure that the majority of people are heard.
