U look at those homies from mattapan & jamaica plain in boston in recent murders, every1 of them had violent criminal records and yet they walked the streets and this guy goes to jail for missing a counseling class..The judges need to get tougher on gun wielding, murderers scum of the earth. I'd have given this guy 1 last chance.

Being a habitual felon isn't exactly a "mistake".

I don't care what anyone has to say about this. These are my feelings and I know whats in my heart. Again, try walking in his shoes for the last 23 years and show me that you are a better person. Sorry just my feelings.

I've spoken to Corey on a number of occasions in the past. I know nothing about his criminal behavior but I'll tell you one thing about Corey . . . he's screaming for love and approval. I've never spoken to anyone who can cover (5 or 6) different topics (mostly sad topics) in a matter of 2 minutes time. He rambles and rambles and rambles. It's absolutely insane. I'm not sure if jail time will help him or not, but he definitely needs something . . . .

I don't care about his sob story. By breaking and entering he deserves to be locked up. Enough said

I agree with I Know Corey from Nashua. Jail is not going to help him but does need help from someone. sla from Dracut is that all you know how to say. Maybe you should spend a couple of days in school and you will know what you are talking about.

He needs "something" alright, how about a baseball bat in the teeth? Hope he can find KY jelly in 5 gallon pails to bring to the slam with him.

This is pretty bad, he doesn't have a daughter either (although he claimed one as a reason to stay out of jail).... unless that woman he's with has one.

Throwing him in jail may not help him, but it will allow the rest of us to sleep more securely in our homes. At this point, with this much of a record at this young an age, his happiness is of secondary concern, and the safety of the rest of the community is the primary concern. His conduct harms others, and he won't stop until he is confined somewhere where he has to stop because of the physical barriers separating him from us. One would hope that he will take advantage of the programs offered to help get himself back on track, but that is his choice. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink. I'd say the prospects are none too good, since he still apparently thinks this is all about him and his special problems, with no thought about how his actions affected his victims. From the reports, there was no expression of remorse for his actions, only excuses about why he shouldn't be held responsible for the things he has done. Me, me, me, I, I, I.

Spare us the platitudes about walking in his shoes. The fact is he is in the difficulties he is in precisely because he had utterly no regard for the effects his crimes had on the people victimized. The people whose homes were burglarized and the people assaulted are much more appropriate recipients of our empathy than this guy.

I know Cory doesn't want to be a violent scumbag (he is) but he just doesn't know better. I don't think jail will help him but I do know the world is safer with him off the streets. This is a dangerous man.
