Now this is an inside deal. Both the Planning Board and Board of Selectmen along with Sherri Gould on the Board of Appeals have all expressed an interest in changing the development to a business district. Low and behold the Chair of the Board of Selectmen just happened to be talking with Mr. Kimball a week before the deal was disclosed and Ms. Gould has represented Mr. Kimball as his attorney over the years.

Any bets on how this will go down?

Boycott Kimball's. This is more insider trading that has made 40B infamous. Is there one so called affordable housing project in the state that was not the result of some get rich quick back room deal?

so the property went into foreclosure and the person with the deep pockets scooped it up. okay, why the outrage? Maybe we should realize that the housing market crashed. Perhaps there should be some relief that property otherwise abandoned will now be back in the tax coffers and making money for the town.

Why is anyone surprised at inside deals, where people fill their pockets with cash.

This is the way our entire country functions and why the middle class is getting squeezed out

If you want to preserve land, then buy it. You have no right to tell a private property owner that they can't use their property in accordance with the law. If you don't like someone's use, then you should have tried to raise funds to purchase it yourself.

Maybe it is a good thing for the town of Littleton since the politicians seem to shoot down anything that could allow the town to grow a little. The old boy network in town has kept that town from growing. The BOS is now getting some of that back. Pathetic.
