"Selectmen and Town Manager Jodi Ross had inquired why patrons exiting could not be routed onto Great Road on the Littleton side of the property."

Wow, what great leadership. Make it Littleton's problem.

What a load of bull. So did the ski area just appear one night and the residents never knew it was there when they bought their house? Here's an idea, close your windows and turn on the AC like everyone else does! Have the ski area, post a cop at the entrance and you have no more of a problem then any other person that lives near a restaurant with live music. Sure, let's whine about the economy and then complain about businesses that are still working! Great comment from the moronic Peraner-Sweet, so of course the whiners are going to call in a complaint! Is not thinking a requirement to be a Selectman?

Typical Westford moonbats. Didn't they understand commercial zoning when they bought there house? Its the same jerks who wont let you park on there road to go into the Kennedy Spring's. The westford board is totally out of line in troubling the business with this nonsense. i was there last thursday and the where 2 cops in cruisers at the enterance. What else do you want?

I have to say before the first article in the Lowell Sun about the Tiki Bar I did not know it was there and I live in Westford. So after hearing about the Tiki Bar, we went 3 times. Twice on Thursday nights and once on a Saturday night. I have to say it was pretty lame compared to what I had read. I expected this really fun time. There were people there hanging out but there was no music after 10:00. How can you have a problem with noise if they do not have music? Stop attacking people who are trying to survive in this economy and shame on the BOS for harrassing this taxpaying business.

Catherine and Dennis Munroe, you bought your home on Powers Road in 2005. You knew the Ski Resport was there but you still bought. Don't blame them because you can't sell. Your location is terrible, Powers is a cut through busy street. The resort was there well before you and will be there after you are gone.

Obviously the ski area has been there - but the Tiki Bar has not. Before you offer comments, why don't you investigate the facts, don't comment if you don't know what you're talking about. The Tiki Bar was just added this summer. Living across from a family ski resort is completely different from living across from a late night bar.
The Tiki Bar needs to go.

Why dont these tools complain about the large trucks coming and going from the other business on that road...I was almost run over by a truck carrying bricks.I would much rather deal with the loud music which goes off at 10pm. PLAIN AND SIMPLE WESTFORD SUCKS...I can't wiat until they start complaining about people test driving cars through there perfect little town. Thanks Boch for for adding that sweet car mega complex.I guess Money talks in Westsuckford.

Since the first complaint, the music has been turned down considerably. The snow guns going in the winter are louder than that! Also there is no music after 10pm. Why should they have to go out of business simply because you don't like living near a bar?

I agree with Lisa... the music/live entertainments stop at 10pm, so what noise are people complaining about? I've been to the Tiki quite a few times. At first, I'll agree, there was lots of noise and I can see how that may have been a disturbance to neighbors. However, I went to the Tiki after the complaints and they stopped having live entertainment at 10...I couldn't hear a single thing from the parking lot. You wouldn't have even known the place was open if it weren't for the cars in the parking lot... so I'm confused as to what noise people are complaining about...If I can't hear noise from the parking lot, I find it hard to believe you can hear noises so loud they keep you awake from across the street...

It sounds like the owners are complying to the noise complaints by ending the entertainment at the bar @ 10pm and hiring police details on the weekends. Seems to me that certain 'neighbors' have an issue with motorcycles. The ownership can't control that.

its not a strip mall (like the strip mall on already on powers road), and it's not a bunch of box stores. It's a family-owned small local business. It won't ruin the town. It looks like there are about 15 employees, based on what I saw. Thats 15 new jobs. This person is right though, we should all be going to the Selectmans' meetings, but we should go to support this business. I am personally upset that they no longer have dj's and have to stop the music at 10. Leave it to one bad seed (Monroe) to ruin something great for the rest of us. His last noise complaint was at 6pm on a Saturday. Obviously he has taken this personally, and his emotions are getting the better of him. 6pm is not late enough for a complaint. Let's not let an extreme minority take this awesome venue away from the rest of us. See you at the next meeting, I'll be there in favor of keeping the bar open.(by the way, it's not the first year of the tiki bar. I went there last summer for LobsterFest with music. Its only become an issue now because the bar has become successful and has many cars leaving late at night. Should we penalize them for being successful?)

Westford is a wonderful little town. The people are super-friendly and the restaurant service is always top-notch! The many wonderful businesses that dot the town are honest and somewhat catastrophic. But nice. I absolutely ADORE the latte at Richard's Coffee Emporium. It's to die for.

P.S. I like cheese.
