Ok what the hell was the girl thinking going home with this guy knowing he had guns after he already try to choke her that when you get out the car and hail down a ride or walk straight to the police station!!!! You dont let him take his time smoke a butt then drive home with him..... some people have no sense

Like others have stated, the accused man is in fact 25, not 35 years old. He is indeed from Westford, not Billerica, and has lived there his whole life. This is an example of a typical bad apple. I know this man personally and can say that he has made many mistakes in his life. But people, every town has incidents like this. I am not trying to defend his actions because they are indeed terrible. But I ask that commenters take it easy on his family. There is no need to cause them any more pain or humiliation than they are all ready going through. I know the family personally, and I can assure you that they are fine citizens. It is just unfortunate that they have to deal with the issues of a severely misguided young man.

I know them. I agree.Great family going through some problems. Any addict can fool you. Especially if you love them. Maybe this 25yr old moved home for help.

Like many have said the kid was 25, not 35..but I bet thats how old he will be before he get out of jail! Attempted murder, no joke, but that will get dropped down to domestic. They are going to stick him with the weapons charges..2 handguns (one stolen while he worked at UPS and one bought off the street) and an AK-47. Kid is going to have a nice stay in the state pen
