That much help and 3 guys still went to the hospital? rehab?
someone should've told those guys that the fire is inside the house and that the hose belongs on there. i thought that's how fire fighting worked?
right before this picture was taken they told all firefighters to evacuate the building and go to exterior operations. Thats why they are outside spraying in
It is amazing that some think they know the whole story from one snapshot...
And we all know that every fire in the city turns out to be OK right? Ugh... |
Get the facts folks. The fire starter outside the structure and fire was running the exterior as well as the interior. Firefighters were ordered out of the building due do the intense fire load and structual integretiy had been comprimised. not also to mention the hose eas filled from floor to celing with junk from the last 20 yesrs. The crews on the scene did an amazing job saving what they did given what they had to trudge there way through.

nothing like putting on a blog that the peoples house was full of junk. There house just burned and some idiot now says that all their stuff was junk. Keep up the good work.

Try fighting the fire and being there, some people can run there mouth but dont know what it is like until you are in the situation and you're getting orders from the uppers, those guys were fighting from the exterior into the basment because that's where the bulk of the fire was coming from... pictures sometimes dont tell the whole story.......................

It is truly amazing how some folks can bad mouth a situation and never know whats REALY goin on. You guys are funny! Even if a fireman isnt what you feel he or she should be, he or she may one day have to go in a blaze to save a child. Be nice people. Pay attention.

The fire fighters were outside but how about the other 3 teams that were inside.
"i see fire inside the house yet these guys are outside? thank god i live in a city and not a town. at least i know my house will be saved. " from Hammer. Well hammer you're a moron because there were Nashua city firefighters on scene so nice argument but because you have no idea what you're talking about, you're a MORON. They did a great job and on a 90+degree day standing next to a fire you're bound to have heat problems. There was rehab setup with a large group of ambulances as well as state rehab. Congrats to Pepperell Fire on a great job and everyone's safe return.(except the cat) |

Hammer prob has a desk job and cant handle the job of being a firefighter, but will be the first to bad mouth them. Every firefighter there was there putting 110% into their job. Thanks to ALL firefighters protecting our lives and property.

I was listening to this on the scanner. i must say that dispatcher has done a phenomenal job during that whole situtation, calling in the mutual aide, the state rehab, the evactuation tones and everything. Kudos to that ppepeprell dispatcher.

It's all over. The fire is out. Let's stop whining and just be glad everyone is ok. And I agree, the dispatcher was excellent and seemed to be a step ahead and anticipated the needs of the situation well.
