Finally, after decades of broken promises, the first steps toward affordable health care have been made!
We can be proud that it will be our generation that got the job done. The benefits will be shared by everyone of all races, creed and religion. Decent health care will soon become available to the everyone, no matter what their income level or political affilation.
It's a proud day for Americans!

The only place this Health care reform is going to affect me, is in the wallet. I have health care, pay dearly for it, and now I will have to help pay for those who won't pay for their own. The government might as well take all of my paycheck, and just leave me an allowance.

The first steps towards breaking the bank and nullifying the Country! No other Country has been able to maintain Socialised (non)healthcare without reductions in Defense, in HEALTHCARE, in other services, etc.

At a time when this Country is losing jobs at an accelerating rate, because of misguided leadership, this is exactly the wrong time to pile on the taxes and grow the government. Government has NEVER been able, with the exception of National Defense, to do anything more efficiently than the private sector. Oh, they try, by not paying the same taxes that private industry must. Government also tends to hide the true expense of their programs. In other words, the government can only appear to outperform private industry through subterfuge.

Don't forget vommitous, societal scourge, it hasn't passed until that piece of garbage referred to as the president has signed it. It isn't enacted so stop getting out ahead of your entitlement mind self.

It still has to pass the Senate.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Virgo

Mercury is turning retrograde at just the right time, because it's telling you to consider the validity of your long-term aims and aspirations. If they stand about as much chance of seeing the light of day as you do of winning the Lottery, then you need to streamline them or even abandon them and start again. So think about what you want from life and how you're going to get it. Children and romance may be quite erratic during this phase.
