I dont feel that the Township should give L-Town the money. I would consider it if it was going to the Hanover Y for a kids event there. Or better yet, lets put the $$ towards a park, right here in Conewago Township. Lets keep our $$ for at "Home" projects.

I remember there was an article about the donation last year where the Hanover Y was the one that requested the donation go to the Littlestown Y because Conewago if in Adams County.
The Hanover Y was the one that asked for the donation to Littlestown again this year. If the Hanover Y is refusing Conewago donations, the money goes to Littlestown.

Then let the County make a donation, not the small under-funded Townships.

First let me say that it is very noble and a really nice gesture to see that the township solicitor will donate his earned money toward the program for the YMCA. That is a really kind hearted offer. Kudos to you sir.

Second, Ms. Keefe needs to be ashamed of herself and the same for Mr. Legore. You wasted township money on a plastic ice rink and each year you pay the township employees to install it, maintain it and to dismantle it. Is this in the best interest of the township? Also, you have ignored the fact and I said FACT that you still permit the township snow plow to remove and clear snow on Lover's Drive which has been indicated that it is a Private Driveway now, but this past winter, it was plowed by the township, why? Is this not a conflict of interest?

Why don't you both make a donation to the YMCA and help fund a small program.
