Why is it that Littlestown is becoming such an expensive place to live? I've seen my water bill increased by nearly $60. The water is cheap, it's the sewer part of the bill that costs so much. They shouldn't assume that the amount of water we take in is being dumped in the sewer. There is such a thing as sewer meters. I'm not saying the town should foot the costs for sewer meters in homes, but if homeowners want to lower their bills it would be a great help. I for one would gladly pay out of my pocket to have one installed if it means shaving money off of my bill. Every time you wash your car, water plants, or fill up your kids little pools you are being billed for that water going into the sewer when it really doesn't. That's a lot of water that I shouldn't be paying sewage costs on. I hope I'm not the only one who sees it this way, but I'm sure I'm not.
