Does Argall think we are all idiots. When the bunch of greedy, self-serving, me comes first politicians in H-burg vote themselves out of jobs we will all know that hell has frozen over. The Gov. has asked all in PA to sacrifice...... except those who govern. What a f'en joke.

Argall's bill is weak and does not cut to the core of state government waste. Eliminating 50 State House members is a joke. History has shown us from other states with greater or similiar populations as Pa. have far less representation per capitia and still do a fine job representing the citizens.

50% cuts to both houses including staff is the real answer to our bloated state governemnt.

Gov. Corbett paying his staff outrageous salaries and our state legisalture is so fat and bloated it's ready to explode. State govenment in Pa. can easily be cut by 50 % across the board and never lose any representation.

folmer cutting healthcare

If Pa. State Senator Mike Folmer gets his way private insurance companies in Pa. will no longer be required to even cover childhood immunizations like the measles or mumps.

No state mandated insurance coverage for chidlhood immunizatiosn

No state mnandated insurance coverage for routine gynecological and breast exams for women.

No state mandated insurance coverage for adopted kids to be covered on their adopted parnets private healthcar plans.

The citizens living in Mike Folmer's district or the state better wake up and realize what this elected official is trying to do to your private healthcare coverage.

Personally, I would prefer the legislature be chopped down immediately, however, knowing the nature of elected officials that is highly unlikely, as "Oh Yea" mentions above.

Argall's plan to spread out the government reduction over years (although I would argue that it spreads it out of a period that is way too long) is more likely to pass since many of the politicians who would be voting on it now are not likely to be around by the time the legislation actually cuts their position...

Is it just me or does the time frame look a little suspecious? By the time the so called reduction in heads comes to pass all the current pigs will be living high off the hog with retirement pensions.
