Thank you, Michelle & Joes Bob for your commitment to God and your family. You make me proud to be a Christian and although I am a grandmother to 15 I myself ony had 5 children (during the l972's when it was stressed to only replace yourself and your spouse)

[Just Crazy Me]

It is simple and I see that it was already said here. Older kids take care of the Little ones.
They do not have time for themselves. I saw one show, cannot remember if it was the same family. Where the 4 older kids have move out and they talk about never having kids 3 of them were girls they said they wanted to expirience life cause they were tire of rasing children.
So there, remember the TV show will only show how happy they are not the behind the scenes.
The parents said this kids that left were not allow back home cause they have lost the path of God and till they could not find it they will now be allow back cause they will only misguide the other kids.

I know first hand that the older siblings take care of the younger ones. For me, it robbed me of part of my childhood. I also agree with some of the others who believe the are probably getting some form of assistance even if Jim Bob is employed. Having worked in medical billing many families that are working and insured have their deductibles and copays picked up by welfare or other government programs.
