I dontn understand how or why Mr Green is getting a new trial.I live in Pocahontas where this took place.I feel it was a grousom drug related set of murders that had our small town scared for quite sometime. To think that we are wasteing time and taxpayers monies on such a thing.he was foung guilty on more accounts than just the murders that would have given him a life sentance anyway so why dont we save our money and time and let it stay where it is.or better yet why dont we place a needle in his arm and give him his just deserve.

Bow....To speak on the behalf of everyone in Pocahontas, AR....Your wrong....Believe me...I am from Pocahonats...And another thing...How about find the ACTUAL person that killed that family...Dont you think that that would be a more appropriate thing to do? But a lot of people, like yourself, are close minded...Maybe instead of going on his reputation or hear say, we should go with facts and evidence...and apparently it doesnt point to him...All I can say is thank the Lord that your not in charge..you would just put anyone to death for no reason

They have arrested the actual person that committed the crime.

I can well remember the first of August 1998 and how hot the weather was when I heard about the murders at Dalton; I also remember the paper carried a story abour the little girl being held in a garbage can plus what else could be happening to her. I shudder to think abour being tied up and put in a garbage can, I don't know who did the murders, but I sure hope justice is served for that family and all their loved ones.

"To speak on the behalf of everyone in Pocahontas, AR....Your wrong.."
you aren't and can't speak for everyone in pocahontas.

"we should go with facts and evidence...and apparently it doesnt point to him.."
it sure seemed to in the first trial.
it wasn't overturned for that reason.

you need to reread the testimony if you think the actual killers are still free.

i believe both greens are each guilty of helping in 1 or more of the murders. 1 is likely lying to save the other from the death penalty.

In this area its hard to make a death sentence stick. Giving a person a death sentence in a poor area is stupid. Anti death sentence folks will come forward to fight any death sentence no matter who gets it. If Green had received 50 or 100 years the sentence would never have been overturned. Judge Erwin is not qualified to set on a death case, he rules by emotion and not facts. What might fly in Pocahontas will be overturned in a higher court. In a county that is already broke another trial is dumb. His life sentence for drugs will also be overturned sooner ot later.
