Feedback: Repeat Drunk Drivers & The Law

Once we make the arrest, it goes into the court system. Where it goes from there, it's certainly not up to us. We do our job and then it's up to the court system to do their's When it comes to drunk driving, how many times do offenders have to be convicted before they're pulled off the road. via WWNY-TV Watertown

I say they should be taken off road when they are convicted the first time so they don,t have a chance to kill someone. My nephew was killed by a drunk driver just before christmas.

We take chances every day when we get in our cars.
Over 43,000 die each year from autos.
I Hate to use the word accidents because usally one or more people did sonething wrong to cause it.
I lost my daughter last Oct 14...minutes before her 31st birtday.

Somehow someway the laws need to be changed to protect the innocent. I agree these are not just accidents. When someone chooses to drive drunk or impaired as they say, they should be held accountable for the strictest judgement of all! I have no mercy for the drunk driver for they are 99percent always the one to walk away! While someone's child,mother,father,son....can 't! I lost my only child to one and 3 of his friends. I feel your pain.
