WRITTEN BY A 21 YEAR OLD FEMALE Wow, this girl has a great plan! Love the last thing she would do the best.

This was written by a 21 yr old female who gets it. It's her future she's worried about and this is how she feels about the social welfare big government state that she's being forced to live in! These solutions are just common sense in her opinion.

This was in the Waco Tribune Herald, Waco, TX, Nov 18, 2011

PUT ME IN CHARGE ...

Put me in charge of food stamps. I'd get rid of Lone Star cards; no cash for Ding Dongs or Ho Ho's, just money for 50-pound bags of rice and beans, blocks of cheese and all the powdered milk you can haul away. If you want steak and frozen pizza, then get a job.

Put me in charge of Medicaid. The first thing I'd do is to get women Norplant birth control implants or tubal legations. Then, we'll test recipients for drugs, alcohol, and nicotine. If you want to reproduce or use drugs, alcohol, or smoke, then get a job.

Put me in charge of government housing. Ever live in a military barracks? You will maintain our property in a clean and good state of repair. Your home" will be subject to inspections anytime and possessions will be inventoried. If you want a plasma TV or Xbox 360, then get a job and your own place.

In addition, you will either present a check stub from a job each week or you will report to a "government" job. It may be cleaning the roadways of trash, painting and repairing public housing, whatever we find for you. We will sell your 22 inch rims and low profile tires and your blasting stereo and speakers and put that money toward the "common good.."

Before you write that I've violated someone's rights, realize that all of the above is voluntary. If you want our money, accept our rules. Before you say that this would be "demeaning" and ruin their "self esteem," consider that it wasn't that long ago that taking someone else's money for doing absolutely nothing was demeaning and lowered self esteem.

If we are expected to pay for other people's mistakes we should at least attempt to make them learn from their bad choices. The current system rewards them for continuing to make bad choices.

AND While you are on Gov't subsistence, you no longer can VOTE! Yes, that is correct. For you to vote would be a conflict of interest. You will voluntarily remove yourself from voting while you are receiving a Gov't welfare check. If you want to vote, then get a job.

Now, if you have the guts - PASS IT ON...!

Indy, this is "Indy-eed" a terrific post, thanks for passing it along. I love the " pull yourself up by your bootstraps" and get to work attitude of the plucky young gal who wrote this. I really liked the reference to military housing, spent most of my youth in on-base housing.

Try this experiment: open up your wallet, and take out a dollar bill. Who's name is on it: yours, or that of a United States Federal Reserve Bank?

I mention this, because this girl's logic can cut both ways. If the liberals take power and raise taxes and fees, they can tell you to stop whining ... they can say "If you want our money, accept our rules."

You have no right to your money other than the rights Congress sees fit to give you (see the US Tax Code). Even your private property can be converted to public use, subject to the rules passed by the Congress ... and the Congress is in theory a tool of the public ... "our rules".

LFGaloot is old ... but imagine if a new generation like him rises up to make the rules?

This has been circulating thru email for years!!
Just google PUT ME IN CHARGE
Snopes dealt with it 2 yrs back. All kinds of people have claimed to be the author...
- a 19 yr old female
- a veteran
- retired merchant marine
I've seen this in my home email 2X and at work once.
I thought by now everyone was sick of all those fools claiming authorship.

If you are among the top five percent you must give up your right to vote because it is also a conflict of interest. I believe that this poor deluded"girl" has anger issues or a serious mental deficiency.

Does it really matter who wrote it? Fact is, why should people receiving assistance live better and have nicer things than people that work or have worked all their lives? Have you ever been in the grocery line behind someone paying for their items with a benefit card? Amazing the things they can afford to eat on our tax dollars!

This is utterly ridiculous. This is typical mean-spirited right-wing nonsense, both the original post and yours. Nothing but disdain for poor people.

Disdain for poor people? No, I grew up poor and worked for everything I have. My priorities are not cigarettes, tattoos and cell phones.

Your job must really suck, if poor people have more nice stuff than you do. You are in the WRONG 1%, lady. Maybe your education is at fault? Did you go to college?

Actually, I did. With no government assistance. Retired from a decent job. Don't mind helping out just don't like being taken advantage of as many are doing of the system.

I don't think the ideal solution to our poor is Mandatory Birth Control and Forced Labor while being confined to substandard government housing in exchange for minimalist subsistence food rations if you can't find a job.

And I doubt this condition would stay "voluntary" for long once these people were removed from society and no longer had the right to vote.

That kinda sounds more like a death camp for poor people.

A lot, and I mean a lot of people abuse the system. The system it also screwed up and allows itself to be taken advantage of.

Some people might actually be poor and need the assistance but there's definitely too many people taking advantage of the system. Bring on the work unless they can prove they can't work by being checked out by a doctor. In which case they can collect disability instead of welfare.

Those of us here in the work wing, or right ring as it's now called, have not figured out very much. For example, we can't get something for nothing and live with ourselves. Not comfortably anyway. It's not like our favorite slogan is, but you'd think it was, "WEAKNESS TO THE PEOPLE!" Let them eat cake is what that amounts to. Right white boys like me ain't got Nuthin figured.

Don't worry what these LF collectivist vampires say, they're in damage control. There is many people on welfare that want to work that will agree with your post..

Good thing you don't have an elitist attitude like those 1%ers.
