Do you mean Canal Place? There is no bridge construction on the southside or do you do you mean from the bike trail.

No one cares. They'll string lights over the garbage, and throw a festival.

That's Mohawk Street in Canal Place.
When the bridge is open I'm sure the construction company will remove it.They have no place to get it out until the bridge is rebuild.

That land from those old tanks to 167 is privately owned. The person who owns it let them dump it there. To my knowledge, It will not be cleaned up by the people who built the bridge. I could be wrong unless the owner and the contractors made some kind of deal.

Colony Construction company is building the trail.
They are not from this area. They do not live here. They do not care about the garbage. They are leaving piles of debris everywhere on the southside. Several residents have video taped them and also have spoken to the engineers on the project with no luck at getting them to stop dumping tires, garbage and construction debris around.
It's hard to tell what is trail junk, what is bridge junk and what is resident junk at this point because there is so much of it everywhere.
One thing for sure, it is definitely an eyesore and won't be cleaned up anytime soon as it has been there now for a while.

Yes, you are all correct. This city is filled with rubble and junkpiles that will never be cleaned up. There is a solution, however. Why don't all of you people who complain about it, pack up, sell your houses and leave. All you do is complain but offer no solution except for "clean it up". I don't care who you are, what side of the political fence you're on, or what god you pray to, but I learned that if you don't care for your situation you can change it. If you don't like it then get out. You won't be missed. We don't need people like you, who tried to shape this place into your image and it didn't work out. So now instead of taking your toys and going home, you are choosing to sit, pout, and s#%t your pants in the sandbox for all to smell.
You know who you are.

P.S.- residents taking video, ha. Delude yourself some more please.
OK...you keep your own property clean but encourage anyone upset about proliferation of junkpiles throughout the City to move away. You'll end up with your own property as the last clean island in a City filled with junkpiles and people who don't care about them. Genius.
(My own personal favorite is how the mere expectation that the City ought to do something as simple as merely cleaning up its own messes becomes "trying to shape this place into your image." Yokel thinking at it's finest, I must say.)

How about you take it one step further Mr. Wonderful and pick up other garbage around town like some of us do instead of telling me to give up my property.
You may be clean but from reading what you wrote you have many obvious mental issues so I guess clean is all you really got going for you.
If wanting piles of garbage removed is trying to force ideas and shape communities perhaps you need to talk to someone professional. There seems to be a disconnect from the topic to your comment and it's pretty obvious where
Here you are Sybil! Did you get help yet? How many names have you posted under today, 6, 7 or 8 maybe? I actually laughed out loud when YOU said someone else had a "mental issue." That is perhaps the MOST ironic thing I've read in weeks!

Get help, you really need it.

Better watch out, Disabled Tony will be down there to turn everybody in. Word out on the street is that he has already tried to cause several people trouble over this bike trail. Hes a little snitch and he has the most to hide!

Nice rubble pile. Someone or several people on Flint Ave, who will go unnamed, must have really pissed off the Mayor. Maybe they just didn't kiss his skinny ass long and hard enough? Or maybe they even opposed him at the last election? Or supported other candidates?

Nice junkpile. Learned your lessons about opposing Bobby around here?
