The owner hopes to have the Mansion open at Christmas for parties and weddings.
He's doing the restoration work to get it ready this summer.

my husband is doing the restoration on the mansion. we have pics if anyone is intrested.just post a number where we can send the pics or an email and we will be happy to send them your way. the porches are being done first. another crew is going to start the roof very soon and the inside will follow soon. its taking alot of time to bring these things back to life seeing the owner wants them as close as possiable to the original

I will be in Syracuse the 4th and 5th. I'm an Architect from CA and have wanted to visit the mansion since '06. Can I come visit? Steelgageinc@gmail.com

Any news?
I was a frequent guest of the "Overlook Manision" when it was a B & B on my long drives to the US East Coast. I fell in love with it and even helped the managers with some Magic themed events there.(One Halloween was especially memorable).
I was saddened to discover its sad state when I returned two summers ago.
Any updates anyone?
MR. Biss my wife and I were the managers you helped with the Halloween. Great memories. Such a loss to the town. Thank you for helping make wonderful memeories.

Hi Chris. You probably remember me best from our "mailbox" run. I heard about the documentary. I recall that time very well. Hope all is well. I have managed to reconnect with a few classmates recently.

I'm not from little Falls, so I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the Burrell Overlook mansion, a big historic 18,000 sq. ft. mansion originally built for D.H. Burrell overlooking Little Falls. It used to be an inn, but got closed down in 2002 I think.
