Do you people...read? You're comparing belief in the easter bunny to belief in God? Do you have any sense of the philosophical reasons for believing in God?
What a bunch of simpletons. Oh, you can't see the easter bunny and you can't see God. That means they're both things people made up to make themselves feel better.
Brilliant.
No it means your parents told you that all these make believe things were real and you believed in all of them until someone told you they were not real and as it turns out they were not. Just because no one told you god was a fairytale does not make him real. Philosophy has nothing to do with it. There goes my simple mind again. Philosophy as in "what is the meaning of life," nothing, we live, we die and the rest of the world goes on without us. Get over it.

And just because someone says God's a fairytale doesn't mean it's true.

Anyone seriously interested in the subject should look at a lot more than this.

Devastating argument. Good show, old boy. That'll show 'em by golly. I bet they've never considered it before. Real stroke of genius. Millions of people will have their faith shattered by your seering logic.

What does it matter? No one follows his commandments anyway. In fact, followers are violating them all over the world in his (her)name.

well, i asked and i received, what's ironic is that so many seem to be closed minded of the possibility of God. i am a God fearing man and i try to do what i think is right. i feel that many of you assc. God and the church as one, i don't subscribe to that notion. i can't believe in a religion that won't punish a clergy that would abuse children the way the catholics do. i do believe in a supreme being. i have read revalation and am aware that the bible involves alot of self interpretation... with that being said, you gotta admit the future history that was written all seems to be coming around. it is my sincere wish that people would embrace what faith or doctrine they believe in cause it's gonna be a bumpy ride.

Ya so let's get rid of the laws in America too. I mean no one follows them anyway. In fact, citizens are violating them all over the country.

Guess we can all go home now. I hadn't thought of this possibility.

The earth gives life, eh? Preach that message to the folks on Staten Island who watched the earth destroy their lives.

Tell the people killed in god's name that i said tell the people in Staten Island that the earth gives life?

Uh...ok. They're dead so it probably won't do much good. It's sort of a dumb idea anyway.

All life on earth started in the sea.
When you die your body goes back in to the earth.
All food comes from the earth.
So the earth must be god.
Its a smarter way of thinking than to say i believe in the man in the sky.

Or you can say the sun is god.
With out the sun nothing will live.
