Let's get our tickets early and sit back to watch it happen. Pass the popcorn, please!

How long has she been here?
How long will she be staying?
I had 4 Dr.s 2-3 yrs each.
Then 1 perfectly horrible one - who others like, I'd be dead now had I not moved on.
For the past 15 yrs I've been seeing one in New Hartford.
Bassett being a teaching Hospital, they come & go pretty quickly.
This being a rural/poverty area, we also get Dr.s staying 5 yrs so that their college loans are forgiven, then on to territory where they are paid more.
Here Dr.s are paid less by insurance & govt. because of the local income level.
Then 1 perfectly horrible one - who others like, For the past 15 yrs I've been seeing one in New Hartford.

PERLANSKI ALWAYS OVER-BOOKS SO YOU END UP WAITING SUPER LONG TO SEE HER. SHE ALSO, WITH ME, WAS COLD/DETACHED. AND SHE SEEMS TO THINK THAT HAVING A 5 X 7 PHOTO OF HERSELF POSING WITH ANDREW WEILL MAKES HER SOMEONE SPECIAL. GOOD LUCK WITH THIS ONE; NONE OF THE ONES WHO CAME RECOMMENDED TO ME ARE ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS.

Maybe if all you idiotic Democrats hadn't voted for Obama our doctors in LF would be accepting new patients...everyone predicted this would happen with Obamacare.

Maybe if we had OTC antibiotics like Mexico does we wouldn't have to run to the MD as much.

It seems to me our docs have an unfair monopoly.
If their insurance company doesn't trust them, they will bounce you off 5 other docs to be sure of their initial diagnosis.
They control how many times you have to see them. They dish out care piecemeal when a contentious doctor would provide definitive care in one visit.
They prescribe 3 drugs that don't work before they give you the one you need. That way the pharmacy stays in business.
On top of that, most of your illnesses can be treated by a nurse.

Cold? Detached? What are you looking for? A kiss? Hug? She probably sees 30-40 patients in clinic dealing with a large percentage of Medicare patients who drink too much, smoke too much, eat like crap, don't exercise, abuse their bodies and she's expected to fix all of that crap AND be warm and fuzzy to boot? GTFOH'! Dealing with Jacktards like you AUTOMATICALLY makes her special.

We've had "managed care" here in California since the late 80's. it can and does work but at a cost. Longer wait times is just one of the problems. The illegal immigrants no how to work the system though. They don't wait a few days to see a PCP. They go directly to the most expensive part of the hospital. The ER. It is illegal to turn them away.(No insurance) In the meantime, you, me (with insurance and legal) may wait weeks for services. Possibly months. And yup, people die during the "wait" period.
