Cute opinion piece.
1. You said it was already agreed to; it isn't.
2. The UN has absolutely no legal authority over the U.S. whatsoever - none.
3. Third, you're a clueless moron:
"Although the United Nations has been studying the feasibility of effecting a United Nations Arms Trade Treaty (ATT), the above-referenced piece of scarelore about the United States' having already entered into a such a treaty — one which supposedly provides a "legal way around the 2nd Amendment" and will result in a "complete ban on all weapons for US citizens" — is erroneous in all its particulars.
• U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has not signed, nor has the U.S. Congress ratified, a United Nations (U.N.) arms treaty.
• The Arms Trade Treaty has nothing to do with restricting the legal sale or ownership of guns within the United States. The aim of the U.N. Arms Trade Treaty is to combat the illicit international trade of arms
• The Obama administration has stated that mandatory conditions for U.S. approval of such an arms trade treaty include the following:
o The Second Amendment to the Constitution must be upheld.
o There will be no restrictions on civilian possession or trade of firearms otherwise permitted by law or protected by the U.S. Constitution.
o There will be no dilution or diminishing of sovereign control over issues involving the private acquisition, ownership, or possession of firearms, which must remain matters of domestic law.
Those pesky facts!

Your reality is clouded by fantasy. Everything is being done incrementally until our 2nd amendment is the UN arms treaty. Same thing as giving up our sovereignty. So the reality is, your fantasy makes you the moron. Speaking of fantasy, You become that millionaire yet?

The U.S. Constitution supersedes any international treaty, bonehead, and any *signed* and *ratified* treaty that is conflict with the Constitution is null and void. See Article 6, Section ii. The UN has absolutely zero power over U.S. law or the U.S. Constitution. None. Even if the President were to a sign a UN treaty calling for a complete and total gun ban AND the Senate were to ratify the treaty, it STILL wouldn't have the power of law. The courts would simply nullify it.
"Surely the President and Senate can not do by treaty what the whole government is interdicted from doing in any way."
- Thomas Jefferson
You can choose to ignore reality, but that doesn't change reality, PV.

The reality Tinkerbell, is they're working on repealing the 2nd. Oh, I forgot, that's not your reality.
#8 Feb 8, 2013
Um, no they ain't, PV! There are two ways to repeal an amendment to the Constitution (which I'm sure you don't know): a 2/3's vote in both houses of congress or passing the measure in 3/4's of the state legislatures, which has never, ever happened (and never will).
So basically PV, you're dead wrong about the UN thing and you know it, which is why you came up with this nonsensical response; and surprise, surprise, you're wrong about this, too!
Enjoy your afternoon!
