I don't see why we should support the Herkimer Human Society because if Herkimer wants humans, they can pay for them themselves have we looked into sharing humans with them why do we need humans I'm on a fixed income that means I don't have to worry about a paycheck or getting paid or anything but somehow thats supposed to mean that I should get everything cheaper if we need a human we can always call 9-11 because my phone has been ringing off hook, no, it was my phone not my hearing aid at least I think it was my phone what was the question I vote yes.

That was really bad typing on my part. I meant to ask, how is working in the Peters administration a 'nice job'? There is so much conflict, so much backstabbing and favoritism, and you are reviled by half the city (if not more) because of the bizarro-world antics of your leader.

Rob Juteau is with him this morning, taking his statement. It will be in the paper tomorrow. Try not to gloat too much.

It warms my heart to think of Bobby getting out his air guitar and crooning "Take this job and shove it I ain't workin' here no more..."

But that isn't going to happen. We have three more years of civic strife, divisive government, expensive lawsuits and shiny new trucks to look forward to. And apparently, we'll have a new treasurer and clerk, as we all turn out in angry droves this November to cast a symbolic vote against the Peters administration and those who work in its dark shadow.

Grab your wallets tight, it's going to be a bumpy ride!

It's up to Bob what sort of legacy he wants. What does he want to be remembered as?

1. A hard working man who tried his best and did the right things for the good of the city and retired, honorably, for health reasons, or

2. A dirty, crooked, filthy, stubborn moron and laughingstock who cared about no one but himself.

It's up to him at this point. In every lifetime, there are these sorts of moments, these sorts of cusps, which define an individual. Bob is at one today.

I am so sick of seeing people bashing Bob Peters. He has done more as mayor than any previous mayors. Why don't you assholes wake up!!!! It is just a few of you who can't let things go. We have a few trouble makers on the council who are in it for themselves, and that's all.
A) What has he done? The only progress made in this town (Stewart's/PC) are projects in which the principals purposely avoided Bobby like the plague;

B) It is just a few of us? And there are just "a few trouble makers on the council"? Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the Council just unanimously vote to rebuke Bobby?

I think ol' Bobby's coming to the end of his run. I still wish I could have seen his face during the council vote.

In all fairness, he has worked hard. Very hard. But he has accomplished next to nothing. Seriously. He fixed the pool, bought two garbage trucks, and built a one-lane bridge to let two rich couples drive to their island homes. Am I missing anything?
Oh, yes. He forced a poor church to sell its sanctuary, and divided the town several times by trying to ram controversial decisions down our throats without any effort at consensus-building.
Anything else?
One thing Bobby is good at is buying vehicles! Pretty soon the Water Department is going to have 8 Cadillacs the way things are going.

So it's true then? Bob really IS throwing Dave and Kira under the bus?
Why would that surprise anyone? He threw Joy Presta under the bus. She lost her job because Bobby hung her out to dry when this whole thing went bad. Anyone who thinks she came up with this whole idea on her own is fooling themselves. It was Bobby and Ed, and when the fit hit the shan they left her swinging in the breeze. Dave and Kira are good people, don't take your anger with Bobby out on them.
