Sorry, everyone is wrong. I guess this is something that people in Little Falls simply don't comprehend...the desire to live in a clean City. Simple as that.
For a smart guy, you can be pretty dumb sometimes.

Just because someone here eats at a restaurant in town doesn't mean they don't think the city should clean something up. It's a ridiculous straw man statement on your part.

You are a CRY BABY and you blow things entirely out of proportion. The idea that this city is so full of junkpiles so as to make it a place where one cannot eat is hyperbole, even for you.

Stop crying, stop whining, stop pouting. Put your house up for sale, cut your losses, and let the rest of us continue to work for a better future.

Don't say I think everything is fine, don't say I'm okay with junk and trash, don't say I'm a yokel.

You want to waste your time trying to create a better future amidst the garbage and the junk, go for it. I'm obviously not stopping you or anyone else. Personally, I cannot envision what a "better future" among garbage and junk is, but hey Forge Away.

Nopey, font even bother. The community has no desire to succeed. They just want to stave off all meaningful change.
You two idiots think that just because someone here eats a CLEAN sanwich shop with good food we don't care what they city looks like and we're against change? How dumb are you? If someone on here says anything nice about LF and doesn't qualify it with some sort of statement like, "But of course the entire place is one giant sh#t hole," you two think that person is okay with trash and junk. Losers.

Well, you've already made it clear that your thinking skills are severely deficient, so I'm not surprised you can't envision anything other than those rocks that so consume you.

Oh yah, lets leave piles of garbage all over town then say oh, well that doesn't mean that we don't care about our town. That's exactly what it says. Lie to yourself long enough, I guess you start to believe it.
Please list the junk piles (plural). You, lpool, list them. In detail. Exact locations.

Don't talk too loudly. The mayor might shut your business down out of spite.
The mayor does not close businesses out of spite. He closes businesses by offering property and/or tax exemptions to out-of-town retail businesses that are going to directly compete with existing retail businesses. Fortunately, he fails at this more often than he succeeds. I simply do not understand why local businessmen tolerate this mayor, when he is so indifferent to the survival of local businesses.

With the exception of Mike L and Jimmy C, the business owners of this city are wussies who cower in fear of City Hall. Oh ... wait a minute ... Peters already put Big M out of business, so I guess that Mike L and Jimmy C are no longer business owners in Little Falls. My bad.

Competition is good.

Giving property tax exemptions to one retail business but not to another in the same industry is bad.

Giving property tax exemptions to your cronies who are helping you attack the exemptions of the non-profits in town is VERY bad.

Hard to blame them. They SHOULD be afraid of Peters. VERY afraid. We've seen that he doesn't hesitate a moment to throw any local business under the bus.

Nobody should trust Peters. He throws even his friends and cronies under the bus. Look at those local businessmen who helped Peters organize the campaign to tax the YMCA and the hospital (and, surprise! got a property tax exemption own their own property). Now he is throwing them under the bus. I fear they are going to be the scapegoat, and he will wriggle away yet again.
