What wonderful news! I've been crying all day long and this little bit of good news has cheered me up. I don't know your sister-in-law, but she seems like a down to earth person and your brother seems to be a very fogiving man. God bless them both and their family. Somehow, someday, I would really like to meet her and give that woman a huge hug. She has been nothing but kind to me and I believe the love of Christ is truly in that woman's heart.( A bonus is that you're all Italian - lol ) Family is so important and I am so lonely now without my brother. There seems to be a huge, empty spot in my chest - now I know what people mean when they say your heart is breaking. Anyway, send her my well wishes and congratulations to little Angelo! I will keep you all in my prayers. God bless.

A baby boy. Thats so sweet. Congrats.

Lisa, I don't know you but would like to give you my sympathies for the loss of your brother.
Stay strong, believe in the Lord as I see you do, and all will be eased in time. Not forgotten but the pain will ease up enough to see your days in a brighter light.

Thank you Sara for your condolences. It has not been easy for me, but I will continue to keep my eye on the Lord. He was my big brother and I love him - ALWAYS. So many people have chosen to rip him apart...but they didn't know him. Pete did do a lot of good which people forgot about. He was a good man and now missed greatly. Again, I thank you, sincerely Sara.

Not as good as your mommy. Actually your mommy gave everyone lessons by taking everyone to downtown newark and had them all lined up while she demostrated over and over again.

No offense but was there really a need for that officer to kill that x-Cop. He could have shot him in his legs or arms. But then again i hope he could put his head on pillow and sleep at night. After all i have read on how wonderful this man was. Its a darn shame
I know that the officer can put his head on the pillow at nite, and hes very happy that he can becouse he can get up in the morning and hug his 5 children YOU STUPID FK .You say he could have wounded him ? look at it this way you stupid ass the officer was wounded when he shot and killed him SO DO YOU EXPECT AN OFFICER TO SHOOT AND WOUND SOME ONE SO THAT SOME ONE CAN SHOOT BACK AND KILL HIM.were are your brains up your ASS?

It seems that so many hostile remarks are made by people that agree that it was ok to kill my brother. Makes me wonder what this world is really coming to. Those who have shown sympathy and understanding, thank you. At least you have open minds and are willing to hear all sides. I have been constantly critisized for defending my brother - and I don't care. Nothing can hurt me. Words are just words spew out by annonymous entities out there - I'm not not that thin-skinned. I am just amazed at the mentality of some of you out there.

Jesus Christ, you guys are something else. Thanks. Look as for the malokio face LTR, not worth the air it breathes.
To: LTR-- YOU TAKE MY ADVICE AND GO F YOURSELF. DON'T TELL ME WHAT I CAN AND CANNOT SAY. You're damn right, when my husband was shot, he had his guard down for a split second! A split second is all it takes. My husband was up against 5 criminals and those on his side, he got shot by one of the criminals AND by his own. Weeks in the hospital fighting for his life all because of a split second of being off his game. A Split fuckn second, move your eyes off the target, make a sudden move the wrong way, whatever it was, it was a split second being off his guard. So go fk yourself.
The other man paid the ultimate price for his actions. Sole is thankfully alive, but the other man isn't and you as well as a bunch of other faceless, gutless, crap spewing morons sit here and constantly put down a dead man to his family and you don't like it when I said he was laxed? HE WAS! You have to be 110 percent on your game in that line of work. Its terrible he got hurt, I never attacked that man I stated a fact. Take your advice? A non entity? Hiding behind a three word saying? Go to hell.
Now, as for my sweeties, and my new friend cmc, don't post anything more here defending me. I don't need anyone to stand up for me, I can stand up for myself and I thank you guys for doing so, but those who know me know damn well I don't need help, especially when it comes to compost!

Hey word of advice. Don't waste your time giving judge and jury a response to her ridiculous postings. She is someone who comes into to these blogs under many different names. She is in here under cmc-esq, Katherine Bs, goodfellow she also goes by Retirement not so good, nowayout, correcting you. She plays many different characters in here to stir up trouble. She is not who she says she is. She even showed up in a forum under my original name "Just me". Pretty low that you would have to steal someones sign on name. So to all that post when you see those names don't even respond to them because it is the same person you are responding to and that is judge and jury. Hey judge and jury maybe you should go back to "Tuscany" and see your so called uncle-in-law and have him say a pray for you because you sure as heck need it. I got a kick out of that posting......Have a great day......

I moved on top of Ambiance hair salon in the summer of 2006. Pete Riva and his girlfriend lived in the other apartment right next door. He told us from day 1 he was a Milburn police officer but me and my mother had always seen him driving an ambulance to transport disabled people in. It never made sense to us and we always questioned it. He was very happy and always whistling and I used to get a weird vibe from him. I always said he seemed like the type who could be a murderer. Boy was I right. I remember one time he came over to our apartment in his underwear and my mother answered the door and he yelled at her to lower the music at 8pm at night and it wasnt even that loud! Thank god he never came with that gun of his! When I heard about the shooting I was in shock and just thankful me and my family were safe! It was so scary to know your nextdoor neighbor was someone like that. Sure he was a nice guy but he was also a physco with serious problems and he got what he asked for and nobody can deny that.

You're the physco - get your facts straight before you shoot off your mouth. Pete was a Millburn Officer and yes, he was also an EMT. Pete saved many lives and nobody can deny that. One things for certain, had you ever needed the assistance of your "neighbor" he would have been right on it and helped in anyway he could have. For you to say "he got what he asked for" is absurd. You didn't even know who Pete was. Who the hell are you to comment you and your "weird vibes"? I know exactly who you are. You're that pig that lived there. Glad that you and your mom moved to East Orange. Go wave your nose in the air - guess you were too good for Totowa. It's a shame you moved from above the hair salon.

She is what she is...check out her criminal history. I know who really killed my brother after we welcomed her into our home on holidays when her own family turned her away.
and you and he did cocaine with her.
this woman being SAVED from him by the PROTECTION of jail system, is over 3 years clean. pretty interesting how her life spiraled downward around drugs when meeting him. love hearing her speak of her sobriety almost two years before he attempted to kill her for exposing him. she was conned by his dupplicitous nature and prayed he leave her alone. he wanted her dead for exposing him. yet through countless surgeries and before the incident, she and her family's prayer's could not do the impossible. READ HIS HISTORY...HOW MANY OTHERS WERE THERE???? If it gets you through the night to blame the last person he almost killed, God bless you in you!

i find it hard to feel bad for his sister at all, shes no the nicest woman nor the easiest to sympathize. But i do feel sorry for all the people who Pete touched as well as those who were his victims.
