I can not fathom the reason that the town of Little Elm would place 2 new red light cams on 380. I travel that stretch several times a day and have never noticed an accident at those 2 particular intersections. I wonder if they are using them to generate revenue rather than public safety?

Well, if you don't run the red lights, why worry about them being there? The instalation cost the city nothing, so what's the issue?

You're missing the point. The purpose of a police department to protect the citizens of that particular jurisdiction. It is not to be a collection arm for that jurisdiction. If it is being done for public safety, then have all moneys received from the cams go towards the Little Elm Independent School Dist. I bet that wont happen!
