VIDEO PRODUCERS RELEASE DOCUMENTARY REGARDING CHD IN CHILDREN
Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome is one of the most Complex CHDs
Little Elm, TX, December 23, 2011 – Congenital heart disease (CHD) is perhaps the furthest from the minds of any expectant parent. It may not seem as a serious complication until it affects the life of a loved one. CHD is the leading cause of neonatal and infant death in America. Independent video producers Wolf Entertainment Productions, Inc. and 3D Visual Creations, LLC have teamed up to produce a heartfelt documentary; a journey for answers, awareness, support and love regarding one of the most complex CHDs in children—hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS).
Phillip Wolf, President of Wolf Entertainment Productions, Inc. had first-hand experience of HLHS with his son in 1999. He has since published a book regarding his son’s tragic battle, but now wants to produce a visual project regarding the subject to reach out to families of CHD and audiences who may be unaware of the HLHS defect.
Wolf is collaborating with Nico Smith, President of 3D Visual Creations, LLC to produce a feature-length documentary titled “Silent Cries” based on their current pilot episode. The pilot focuses on families, charitable organizations and medical professionals regarding HLHS and reaches out to potential backers to help fund the production into a feature-length program.
One reviewer of the pilot claims, "Thanks to this production, families will now know more about this illness and how organizations such as Ronald McDonald House Charities are there to support them throughout the most trying of times—the illness of a child."
The “Silent Cries” pilot episode premieres December 23, 2011 at 7pm (CST) via the film’s website at www.SilentCriesMovie.com
and streams on YouTube and other online media channels thereafter through February 2012 until its release on DVD.
