Has anybody else noticed that Sunset Pointe, is crawling with traffic cops in the afternoon? THey hang around the Woodlake & Sunflower drive 4 way stop. Fair warning to everyone...they are desperate and would write a ticket for being 8 mph over!..I should know - I got one.:(

Yep, the best thing to do is go the speed limit or put your car in cruise because they are looking to get you! The money you pay for traffic tickets helps generate revenue for their bottom line. And since Little Elm is growing so fast, they will write you a ticket no matter how fast you're going over the speed limit. I see them all the time hiding in different places, but I keep my car on cruise to fit the speed limit.

Im self employed and what I like to do is pull over to the side of the road and warn people....I act like my car is broken down....get a sign that says "police" on it and hold it up. This drys the activity right up.

How about just doing the speed limit? They post it for a reason. It's a neighborhood with kids playing.

Glad to see the Police in Sunset Pointe. Our tax money at work.
Homeowners are sick of fools coming thru these neighborhoods doing 50 plus with small children playing just feet away. To top in off, 30 mph is too fast anyway for these subdivision streets.

You can send these police back to Glen Cove. We haven't seen them in years and people cut through our neighborhood to avoid the backup on Witt. I hope to move before someone runs over my kids! Slow down if you don't want a ticket, I applaude the police.

i think it is a good thing. if you are speeding, then you are breaking the law; therefore you should get a ticket if you get caught. yeah it sucks to have to pay it, but you knew the rules going in.

You really have to watch everyone at this intersection. The last couple of weeks before school got out, I can't tell you how many kids I saw riding their bikes to school going DIAGONALLY across this intersection. I called Robinson Elementary, but it may have been too late for them to address this safety issue with the kids.
