When my son nearly had an ankle fracture, they put on a semi-permanent cast, gave him some pain meds, told us to schedule with an orthopedic surgeon, charged us the $20 copay. and sent us on our way. This time I go in for flu like symptoms and the lady at the desk tried to charge me a $250 deductible for emergency service. Oh no, not right away! This time she stepped back and put her hands in her pockets until she found out I had insurance, then she was very accommodating, that is until I pointed out what we were charged on our last visit. They are probably not bad people, but they are in serious need of training. I won't be going back because of the utter confusion. No one has time for that when they feel bad.
