When I first heard about this, I thought, seems like the decision maker(s) on this, are undermining the new slogan on the new police cars "solving problems."
As a citizen seeing Ms. Strauch at work, I saw someone who was in the business of prevention of some of these problems as well as a catalyst in building communications between the Police Dept. and diverse communities. This position in the PD is vital and productive. Ms. Strauch filled it admirably. Also, I don't see the loss of this position, as a vote of no confidence in the employee, but as a mistaken economy.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Gemini

It's a busy day and you've got quite enough to do without having to cope with people clamoring for your attention and likely to go into a huff if they don't get it. Is this person feeling neglected because you're busily occupied elsewhere or are there other reasons for their demanding mood? Simply giving them a big hug could make all the difference to their behavior.
