Full story: TwinCities.com

It's a hot day. Big crowds. A lot going on. Beer. Loud music. Among the key indicators of success at this event, this question: How bored are the cops? Pretty bored? Excellent.

The security detail, including the cops didn't look that bored to me and they better get a few more concerts under their belts before they cause a bigger distrubance then what I witnessed at this years Taste when they pulled people from the Judas Priest concert for expressing themselves during the song, Breaking the Law.
Their is no good reason to start a fight in a crowd because you don't like the way people look, act and behave when they are having fun.
The security people sucked, including the St Paul Police department.

I'm glad the operators are looking to fix problems. We went this year and will return, but if things are not corrected we will not return. Among our biggest gripes: Lower the price of the food, which was mostly county fair quality. Yes, we'll eat the junkie food, but not at those outrageous prices. Lower the prices and vendors would probably sell 10 times as much! My husband, who usually cannot resist eating that food, ate nothing on July 4 because of the prices.

I thought they were disappointing. Maybe it's the trade off for bigger names in entertainment?

There's no justification for allowing the ToM to continue for all the harm it's causing society. Everything about it is contributing to the obesity epidemic crisis, not to mention providing alcohol so stupid drunks can cause carnage out on the highways. The fireworks are completely irresponsible, causing all sorts of environmental damage. If the PTB are going to allow this insanity to continue, then at least the prices should be raised substantially so the obese/drunks can't afford to indulge their gluttony as easily.

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Virgo

You're finally at your best after relaxing and catching your breath for a moment. Now that you're rested, it's time to do some of the things you've been putting off lately. Make a sudden appearance to surprise someone from your past. No matter how many new people you meet, don't forget that old friendships are the glue that holds the relationship cycle together. Keep in mind that a present doesn't have to cost much, as long as it comes from the heart.
