I think Trick-or-Treat should be cancelled, because lets face it, kids are fat.

If your house is in Columbus, but your child goes to school in Westerville, is it observed in line with Columbus or Westerville?

You know, you could hand out something other than candy. Or since you are such a grump, maybe kids shouldn't be exposed to you at all, so don't bother handing anything out. You probably also think Christmas should be canceled because kids are spoiled these days. Let's face it, people are too critical.

An Amber Alert has just been issued looking for 2 Doors Down's sense of humor. If you see it, please return it to 2 doors down. Lighten up, man, it's Trick-or-Treat.

It's probably wise to let the kids do their thing on a relatively "non-party" night. Friday and Saturday will have more than their share of drunk drivers and revelers.

Think safety....

thx, but looking back, "think outside the box" already nailed it in this thread in post #21.

I agree it is a little silly that they said it was always going to be on Halloween and aren't following through with it but what fun would trick or treating be if no-one is at home to pass out candy?? Most people don't sit around on Saturday nights so I am sure kids would be knocking on a lot of doors that wouldn't be answered. Where is the fun in that? Who cares what day it is as long as our kids share some candy with us:)

It should go with the school district that you are in.

I completely agree, I'm from lancaster and we are doing ours on thurs. as well. Personally, i have 3 boys that all go to school and trying to get them dinner, bath , and bed is hard enough. not to mention the homework factor. It should definately be on a weekend!
