Oooo, loooong story.
The businesses of Lithonia paid for their licenses a while back. The checks have been cashed and most don't have their permits yet. Oh yes, that's a big problem. I would hate to be waiting 4 months for my license and be making no money.
There is a massive power struggle between the council and the mayor. It also said she has been shredding documents. That's a big no-no. She fired the police chief, why, I don't know. I think because he hired new folks and bought a new cruiser or 2. Maybe he was wrong, but it has to be voted by the council to can him. She fired him and the council re-hired him. Thus making her look foolish.
She tried to remove a computer from city hall, that's city property. I mean my job won't allow me to take one home, so that brought the police in again.
The nut in the shell is she thinks she has the last and only word. It doesn't work that way.
The whole thing is just a joke, she is not trying to work with the council and being very unprofessional.
Anybody is free to add or correct me. Go back and read all the stories, best sci-fi on the market now. LOL

I live in Gwinnet County, Georgia and I have never witnesses such mess as I have with the city government of Lithonia. She is the Mayor and was treated like a piece of trash. The police and others should be disgraced about their behavior with treating the lady like an deranged animal.

I suppose her shredding document, trying to remove a computer, firing the chief, not renewing business permits, with holding permits after cashing the checks, and allow the city of Lithonia to pay her personal bills is alright with you. Fine move there.
Or better yet, let the city fold, because it's well on it's way.
