It is not right for the media to be filling in the blanks to the story without getting all the facts There was never a weapon inside the restaraunt. The shots came from outside by the back door the security pulled the vitim inside to protect him. this was a random act of violence that could have happen anywhere. The bigger problem is why it took paramedics 20 minutes to get there when there is a fire station 5 minutes away

He hit John with a bottle and a fight ensued. Security broke up the fight and removed all parties, taking the offenders out the front entrance and Mr Hoover out the back. The fool went to his car, retrieved his weapon and went to the back and shot Mr. Hoover. Security grabbed Mr. Hoover and brought him back into the building. 911 was called. We were placed on hold and after requesting assistance, it took 20 minutes for an ambulance to arrive. Keep in mind there is a hospital within a 4 min drive and a fire station within a 2 min drive. Mr Hoover, unfortunately died enroute to the hospital.

If you have to have security, that's your first problem, second of all, if there was this type of confrontation,"YOU" should have called the police,you and your so-called security team, will and probably be sued over this. And hopefully, run your dram-shop, so high, you can't pay for it, if you even have it! So, hopefully, you can handle all that, as a educated, well off person, that you say, you are. This man was a great friend of mine. I have known him for almost 30 years. We grew up together. I am saddened by his untimely death and my heart goes out to his family. I remember as a kid his mother always called him "Pumpkin" LOL He was a good man and fellow military member. I will miss him.
